The orange weather proof lock ring can be removed during assembly to provide a plug that can be used on a regular home double powerpoint alongside other plugs. The lock ring will remain on the socket end. Select your preference under the 'Plug Type'. This selection will enable up to 4mm rubber cable to be used which will produce minimal heat during extended use like home EV charging with a portable charger.
